Sweet idea for a spec class. Those look like a lot of fun. Once you get an idea of what the batteries and motors will be (RTR/stock or will it be BL and LiPo?) I might just have to get one. Nice price and they really look like they handle the jumps well. That and my T4 is no longer a truck so this would make a nice addition to the collection.

Not owning Traxxas in the past - do manufacturers typically make paintable bodies for those models (i.e. ProLine) or does Traxxas start selling them clear as an optional part?

I'm game for this! now i just need to find one local. are we leaving them box stock and racing them or can we run a lrp /novak set up? im down. just let me know where to get it or when norcal will have them. can we run lipo?

GaryO, Ordaniza and Myself bought Slashes today.These things are bad a$$! We will be testing tomorrow.I really feel for the short term minimum,we need to keep the trucks stock.199.99 is an awesome deal for a truck that is really stout.Only allowable change would be setup/shock oil.There are adjustments to be made on the truck.

There will be a clear body soon enough.Will let you guys know whats up tomorrow after testing.

Skoty! Missed your post and call this afternoon.Yes you can run Lipo.Box stock except for receiver and oils and were racing! Jake has some.Hobbytown in San Jose will have some come Thursday.Hobbytown Concord has 1 left.I suggest if your wanting one,call your local hobbystore to you and see if you can score one or preorder one..Because I just confirmed that the next shipment which will hit stores at the end of this week will be it for a couple weeks for these beast.Backorder city.Can't wait to run them tomorrow.

Sounds fun, I'm in for this class and will see if I can score one at JPH. Can't wait to hear how they run at NorCal. That suspension reminds me of how the 1/8 truggies suck up the landings and it looks like it's got plenty of punch with the 12T stock setup. I'm stoked on this thanks for the info!
