Revamp of Lakeport Hobbies Raceway
Major Revamp of Lakeport Hobbies Raceway.
In four months (Maybe sooner) we will be looking to completely redesign Lakeport Hobbies Raceway!
During this time it has been decided to give our racers a break as we have done for two years before last.
The break will consist of a minimum of:
One month but no more than Two.
Additions and changes are always welcome and are done a few times separate from Major Track Design changes.
So needless to say we are open for some minor renovations before our major Revamping begins.
Major revamps is something we do usually twice a year!!
Two items of interest.
1) The revamping of Lakeport Hobbies Raceway.
2) Time off this Summer.
Number one.
A major overhaul requires much labor and volunteer work! We hope many of you will really dig down and become a part of this effort when it happens! The Major overhaul can be done in several stages or done quickly with the right amount of man power.
Number two.
We want to give our regulars time with their families and friends away from RC racing. This way we are sure not to achieve RC Burn Out. In the past it was always good to take a month or two each year to give our Racers some time off. Like the years before by the time our new design and track is complete folks will be bursting at the seams to get back on the track.
When will we take our break?
Sometime between July and August of 2010
How long will our break be?
Between one to two months.
Our track will be back up and running by the fair as we have been invited back this year to perform our program for the public yet once again.
We are working on some great details!!
The fair this year will be held during the month of September.
Thursday September the 3rd, Friday September the 4th, Saturday September the 5th and Sunday September the 6th of 2010
Look into your calendar of events and set these dates aside as we would like to have as much participation as possible.
