Conclusion of the 2010 GSEC
Radio Control Racing at it's finest!
The three day event (GSEC) like last year was a huge success!
Factory Team Losi Driver Phillip Atondo from Marysville. Team Associated Drivers Chris Jarosz, Zack Rogers, and Cody Turner from Los Angeles attended this years Golden State Electric Challenge. Over $6,000.00 dollars worth of Cash and Prizes were raffled away!
Lakeport Hobbies Raceway Located at the Lake County Fairgrounds has been running their weekly RC Race program now going on their fourth year.
Events Like the Golden State Electric Challenge are successful because of our local club racers says David Noland owner and founder of the RC Raceway. Without their weekly support in the trenches working before, during, and after all of our events the sport would not be the great program it has become today. Many of of our pictures and videos in the photos & Videos page of the Lakeport Hobbies web site show family as a huge contributor of growth. No mater what skill level a beginners is, we strongly support their interests in becoming involved. Folks from all ages and genders find out about our program through local TV, Radio, News paper articles, Lakeport Hobbies, and signage through out the county. Once they find us it isn’t long before they themselves are involved in this great sport and hobby.
Many young men & boys will join our ranks find their dads who originally supported them become involved themselves. We have had Father son teams as well as Mother Daughter teams become part of our program through out the years.
Lakeport Hobbies Raceway is a great place for families and folks in general to meet new friends and come together with old friends sharing a common bond of community and support for the great sport and hobby of RC Racing!
Lakeport Hobbies has a great RC vehicle rental program as well as a rent to own your own RC vehicle program!
Lakeport Hobbies Raceway's commitment to Lake County for 2010 is to continue to provide a Clean, Fun, Safe environment for Racing Radio Control Vehicles.
